Scoring
Awkward letters pay.
Longer words score more, and the letters nobody wants are worth extra. Answer fast to build a combo, up to +5 on every word.
Jazz scores 20: 14 for a four-letter word, then 6 more for the J and both Zs.
Pick your character. Unlock the rest.
Characters, backgrounds and frames open up as you level up.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes! ChainSpell is free to download. There are ads between matches (a solo developer has to eat 2 meals a day), and the Remove ads purchase makes them vanish. Everything else in the shop is optional.
Do I need an account?
Nope. No sign-up, no password to forget, no email to confirm. You're an anonymous player, and the only thing anyone else sees is the name you choose. Choose wisely.
Can I play offline?
Solo works anywhere: planes, subways, that one corner of the house the Wi-Fi never reaches. Live duels and leaderboards need a connection, because your opponent can't hear you through airplane mode.
Is it on Android?
Not yet, sorry! ChainSpell is made by one person, so it's starting on iPhone. If the launch goes well, Android is next in line. Until then, find a friend with an iPhone and cheer them up the ladder.
Why can't I find it in my country?
Sorry, Europe! It's not you, it's paperwork. Selling apps in the European Union comes with extra rules for sellers, and ChainSpell couldn't be ready for them by launch day. It's planned, so watch this space.
