A fast word game for iPhone: every word starts with the last letter of the one before, and the clock gets shorter every turn.

Description

Nature, eagle, eraser. In ChainSpell every word starts with the last letter of the one before, and the turn clock shrinks as the chain grows.

Players start against three AI opponents. Each races them to a target score, and the harder ones think faster and play smarter, never with a bigger vocabulary. Beating Hard unlocks Endless, where the game goes on until the chain breaks. Beating Medium unlocks Versus: live word duels against other players, on a ranked ladder from Novice to Grandmaster.

ChainSpell runs in 30-day global seasons, each with a fresh Endless leaderboard and ranked ladder, and gold and a badge for where a player finishes. Season 1 begins on launch day.

Longer words score more, rare letters are worth extra, and quick answers build a combo. Players pick a character, background and frame, unlock more as they level up, and learn a new Word of the Day on the home screen.

There is no sign-up or account: a player is an anonymous ID, and the only thing anyone else sees is the name they choose. Names and duel words are filtered, and any player can be reported or blocked.
